Cort has been looking forward to seeing an air show at Hill Air Force Base for a long time. With air force week in full swing we lathered the kids up with sun screen and headed out for some fun in the sun.
Austin dreaming of becoming an air force pilot.

The kids loved the static displays, there were over 40 to see including helicopters, Russian MAG's, refuel planes, tank haulers and more.

Cort's dream... laying down in the rear of a fuel plane.
"So this is how they refuel F-16's in flight!"

Austin was acting as gunner in a Tomahawk helicopter.
As Livy yelled orders to the pilot.

Austin and Livy dreaming of flying in a Cessna.

"Austin... wait... where is your parachute?"

"Oh... so that is how you fly it!"

Austin missed the Thunderbird show having more fun playing with the little jet set he got.

Livy had fun as well if she could just keep her hat and sandals from falling off while walking in the crowds of people.

Zach has just learned how to "army crawl" and is getting into everything he can reach.
I think he is looking for "Top Gun!"

We planned a quick trip up to visit the cabin and found two old aspens had fallen over, one landed on the cabin!

The kids had fun playing on it until dad pulled the chain saw out. Several others had fallen down all over the property, one over the upper and lower road into the cabin. We went on a trip to the beaver ponds, had a fire and played on the swings. We can't wait to go back again soon!!

Olivia and Elena were so cute after getting ready for church. Olivia wanted to take pictures so out we went to the front yard to take pictures by the newly planted flowers.

Everyone thought Livy was a gypsy. What cute little girls.
